“I really don’t think that I consider working for an audience. I’m in constant hope that whoever reads my stuff will find it as interesting as I did in drawing it, but primarily I’m doing it for myself. I love to draw. I love to tell the stories that are in my head. I love to see them come out in a pictorial form, in an illustrated form, just fermenting with those ideas in the back of my mind actually seeing them on paper solidifies it for me. That’s my gratification anyhow.”
